STEP BY STEP

Upon boarding the Blue Bayou, staff will take drink orders, process your ticket and give you a sealed boarding packet.  Ghost hunters will then settle in with appetizers and optional cocktails. Each booth of six players forms a team.  Gaming materials (notepads, pencils, flashlights) are provided.  The Conductor will board the train and describe the challenges ahead and strategies for sharing information about the six possible ghosts.  There is important clue-linked information presented for each of the six ghosts and more in hidden clues so be ready to take notes.

Finally, sealed boarding packets are opened, the spirits are invoked, and things change…something has entered the train as ghosthunters take on secret roles. The game begins and the hunt is on.

Ghosthunters disembark, some teams head out into the dark searching for clues. Others gather to question each other and form alliances, wary of an occultist in their midst or a possessed ghosthunter.  The more you interact, the more you’ll learn, and after some comparing of team member notes you will hopefully figure out who you can trust and who you can’t.

Throughout the evening, teams are selectively dispersed with maps to search with flashlights for clues in the darkened lumberyard. Every team will search two areas for 15 minutes each. Hunting is interspersed with gathering and eating.  The train bell signals the end of each period.

(It is possible to become suddenly frightened while hunting so anyone who participates in the hunt will need to sign a waiver.)
