New Year’s Fest On The Blue Bayou Promises To Be An Incredible Evening With This Warm And Cozy Premiere Viewing Spot For The Infamous Piano Drop.
This year 36 lucky folk will be sitting high and dry above the crowd where they will enjoy the spectacle in first class comfort. The evening begins at 7:30 PM with an appetizers followed by a savory surf and turf entrée. Our servers and trained bartenders will be making prohibition style cocktails all night and giving you the best of the Lumberyard’s personal service. No lines for you and your group. Your table is saved, allowing you to wander the two-acre facility and take in any of the five amazing bands playing simultaneously throughout the night.
The “showtime at the Apollo” winning Lamont Landers Band from Muscle Shoals will heat up the night with their retro brand of soul/r&b/funk. The world renown Microwave Dave and the Nukes will burn up some blues and the Huntsville-based Dawn Osborne Band will cover the Kiln. Your wristband will allow you to go to any bar for bottomless champagne, perfect for joining in a 2nd line with the New Orleans Brass Band, Cool Bone. And the evening will finish off with a collaboration of Huntsville's best DJ's and an incredible light show and dance music.
Back on the train, there will be desserts, party favors, some dancing in the aisles and each booth has a personal TV displaying world-wide celebrating including closed circuit TV to our stages. Dress to impress for your roaring 20's keepsake pictures of a special night on this 1924 one-of-a kind railcar.
